Testing seeks to prove the voting system and its components are accurate and performing as intended by comparing the voting system reports of the scanner results to the known expected results. Testing verifies that election specific data and ballots include every contest, candidate and precinct. Ensures all components of the voting system are functional. Verifies the voting system can interpret voter markings and record and report vote totals accurately.
